"Boris Johnson has no mandate as a prime minister but the government has no mandate for a no-deal Brexit either so we need to stop that risky plan in its tracks".

Critics say he's deliberately spoiling for a fight with Brussels so he can crash out of the EU.

The government is hoping that the European Union blinks first before October 31st to avoid the United Kingdom crashing out of the EU, because the cabinet fears it will hit everyone involved, but especially Ireland. "They discussed global economic issues and trade, and the prime minister updated the president on Brexit", said a spokeswoman from Johnson's office.

One petitioner, Edinburgh South Labour MP Ian Murray, said: "When Boris Johnson unveiled his vacuous slogan "taking back control", voters weren't told that this could mean shutting down Parliament".

But is this attempt to block a no-deal departure from the bloc itself inherently anti-democratic? As a result, all parliamentary business stops and MPs could therefore be powerless to stop a no deal Brexit.

The Telegraph has learned that Labour has suspended the process known as "slipping" for two weeks, which allows Labour MPs to be absent for votes, in order to maximise the chances of toppling Boris Johnson's administration.

Tebow out for the rest of the season
Tebow's return to baseball, a sport that he hadn't played since his junior season at Nease in 2005, has been an interesting story. The former quarterback racked up 989 yards rushing in three years, but could never quite figure out that throwing thing.

The U.K. voted to leave the European Union in June 2016 with the referendum seen as a way for former Prime Minister David Cameron to appease the pro-Brexit wing of his Conservative Party, although he did not support Brexit himself.

Johnson has drawn criticism for pledging to leave with or without a trade agreement with the EU.

The central message Mr. Bolton delivered is that the United States will help cushion Britain's exit from the European Union with a free trade deal that is being negotiated by US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and his British counterpart, Liz Truss.

In the case of a no-deal Brexit, Johnson hopes to pursue an extensive trade deal with the U.S.

"The Americans are very tough negotiators indeed", he said.

"I don't expect that a meeting between the Taoiseach and the Prime Minister will solve everything", he said.
