But right now the biggest concern for the Gunners is to convince Philippe Coutinho to play for a direct rival of Liverpool given that Brazilian still holds the Anfield outfit very dear to his heart.

The Brazil worldwide has reportedly given the OK for a return back to the Premier League.

Coutinho should join Premier League side Arsenal on loan from Barcelona.

Coutinho earns more than £200,000 a week and it would make him the top earner at Tottenham if he were to join. Coutinho was an unused substitute in that game.

His previous form in England meant that Spurs were keen to bring the 27-year-old back to the Premier League.

Much of last season was spent at Wembly before a move at the end of the season to the brand new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Bianca Andreescu hailed as 'old soul' in abrupt victory over Serena Williams
She hugged Williams, one of her tennis idols, comforting the tennis great in what was obviously a painful and hard moment. She carried that momentum into the second set, eventually winning the match when Svitolina's return was too deep.

Coutinho's camp insisted earlier in the transfer window that he would not join United due to their rivalry with his former side Liverpool.

Now though there seems to be another twist with L'Equipe reporting that Arsenal are seriously considering a loan move for the Brazilian and Barcelona too want to offload him.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are banned from making transfers until the summer of 2020 while Manchester City have an abundance of attacking options. However, ESPN's Moi Llorens claims that Manchester United and Tottenham have recently made enquiries about Coutinho's future.

He would have preferred to rejoin Liverpool given his history at the club, but has accepted that move is not on the cards.

Coutinho is with Barca's squad in Miami as they prepare to face Napoli in the first of two friendlies against the Serie A club in the United States.
