Willie Nelson 'Feeling Better,' Will Resume 2019 Tour

Nelson sent the message late Wednesday after an evening performance at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, with Alison Krauss.

On Wednesday, the 86-year-old announced on Twitter he had a breathing problem that needed to be checked out.

Willie Nelson is canceling the remainder of his North American tour dates due to a breathing problem.

But later today, promoters clarified that the entire tour was not being canceled, just imminent dates.

Nelson has been battling emphysema, and has cancelled, rescheduled or cut short a number of shows over the last two years due to his health.

He was also gearing up to play the Farm Aid concert September 21 with Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Bonnie Raitt.
