Some Amazon employees around the world are going on strike on Amazon Prime Day, the most highly anticipated discount shopping day of the year, to protest working conditions and demand better pay, Market Watch reports. Usually, the DualShock 4 wireless controller for PS4 costs $60.

Amazon Prime Day is meant to be a two-day parade of "epic deals", according to the online retail megalith.

This sweet deal is to end within the next 22 hours. You could basically build a whole new system using these parts - and a dang nice one at that - or get some nice upgrades for your current PC. Amazon has limited stock on its deals, so be quick to grab one.

"By doubling Prime Day's duration and halving the delivery time, the company is testing hundreds of thousands of workers' physical limits as though they were trained triathletes", Appelbaum told Business Insider. That's a remarkable $160 reduction from their original price, meaning you're getting the Solo3 for more than 50% off.

Amazon had said in advance that the strike would not affect deliveries to customers. That isn't the only sale happening now, however.
