Ever since he left Liverpool for FC Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho has struggled to regain the kind of form that made him one of the top players in the Premier League.

The Antoine Griezmann transfer saga is finally over - or is it?

With big moves Barcelona are aiming to win it all after being disappointed last season.

"When I was a boy, my dad taught me that trains don't come around just once", Griezmann said.

The clause in the 28-year-old's contract dropped to €120 million on 1 July but Atletico claims Griezmann agreed terms before that date, with club president Enrique Cerezo saying he was unhappy with the manner of the France international's departure.

Barcelona have signed France forward Antoine Griezmann from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid after paying his 120m euro (£107m) buyout clause.

Griezmann is Barcelona's fourth signing of this window after the Catalan club signed midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Champions League semi-finalists Ajax, defender Emerson from Atletico Mineiro in Brazil and goalkeeper Neto from Valencia. I'll defend the Barça colours with all my determination and commitment.

Asked about the club's statement following Barcelona's signing of Griezmann, in which they demand the full 200 million, Cerezo said: "If the club has released that statement, it's because they have evidence".

The Frenchman scored 133 goals in all competitions for Atleti.

Griezmann has spent the last 14 years working up through the ranks in Spain, initially making a name for himself at Real Sociedad alongside former Arsenal winger Carlos Vela.

"Atletico believes that the termination of the contract happened before the end of the last season and therefore has initiated procedures it has deemed appropriate to protect their rights and lawful interests".
