We are firmly in the second half of 2019 and Forbes has released its annual "World's Highest-Paid Celebrities" list which features the top 100 highest-paid athletes, entertainers, personalities and more.

Topping the list is Taylor Swift, who earned $185 million in the past year, which comes at no surprise considering the young pop star's hit singles like "Me!" and "You Need to Calm Down" topping recent charts.

Swift also had a few familiar faces on the list-including her pal Ed Sheeran, who snagged the no. 5 spot with an estimated $110 million in earnings-and her ex Calvin Harris, who came in at no. 95 with reported earnings of $38.5 million.

Earlier this year, Jenner was named the youngest self made billionaire by Forbes, after her net worth was estimated at $1 billion dollars.

The rest of the top five highest-paid celebrities are Kylie Jenner, Kanye West, Lionel Messi, and Ed Sheeran. So, if you make a comparison she boosted up her estimate pay nearly 131 percent.

The exploit was recounted in a book, " On Wings of Eagles ", by Ken Follett, which became a best-seller. In 1969, the Defense Department recognized Perot for his work getting aide to POWs in Vietnam.

Talking of sharing, Swift shares the higher ranks of the listing with an intermittent nemesis, Kanye West, coming in at No. three with $150 million.

Swift made the number one spot - which she also held in 2016 - thanks to her music, touring and endorsement deals. West receives a 15% royalty on the wholesale price of the shoes, plus a marketing fee, according to Forbes.

Following Kanye West at No. 4 on the list is soccer star Lionel Messi, who is now making $80 million annually with FC Barcelona through the 2020-2021 season. The song has spawned an empire that now includes a chain of restaurants all over the world, as well as apparel, footwear and home decor, tequila and margarita mix, earning him $50 million in 12 months.

But even though Swift and Jenner top the list, only 16 women made it into the the top 100.
