Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Paul Pogba that Manchester United "do not need to sell players" after the midfielder and his agent publicly said he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Pogba, though, has travelled to Australia for United's pre-season tour and his manager insists it's business as usual for his star midfielder.

"When you're at Manchester United you expect these things to pop up".

"As far as I am aware and up to now, we don't have any bids for any of our players". Manchester United are under no pressure to sell at all. "I don't want to call it an agenda against Paul", said Solskjaer.

"There is an agenda against Paul, he's a top, top bloke. He's got a heart of gold".

"I'm positive. Of course with David I've said many times how lucky I am and happy we are to have him in goal". He's a great, great professional. But Pogba is now exhausted of life in England and wants to play for a bigger club where he can win trophies on a regular basis and his agent has all but confirmed this when he spoke to reporters earlier this week. "Paul has never been a concern for me".

"When he's on the pitch he's working hard, he's a true professional, he's a proud boy".

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan was speaking on talkSPORT earlier today, when he expressed his disbelief that Solskjaer would speak of the player in such glowing terms.

He also said United haven't received offers for any other players, including Romelu Lukaku who is said to be wanted by Inter Milan, and they will not be forced into selling any of their players.

Pogba has two years left on his contract, with the option for a third, however, and Solskjaer hit out at media for indulging in the transfer talk.
