Zach Randolph and Tony Allen left in 2017 as free agents, and Memphis traded Marc Gasol to Toronto in February, splitting up a duo that had been the NBA's longest-tenured teammates.

Kyle Korver, who was also involved in the reported deal, will likely either retire or agree to a buyout with Memphis prior to the regular season.

The move elevates the Jazz in a now wide-open Western Conference, though it comes with the three years and $97 million still owed Conley.

The All-Star sharpshooter averaged 8.6 points in 58 regular-season and playoff games off the bench for the Jazz after being traded by the Cavs during the season.
