MIUI has been one of the key USPs of Xiaomi smartphones and the main reason for the company to withdraw the MIUI Beta programme is that while the number of users on public beta has increased over time, very few bugs were getting reported back to the MIUI developers.

According to the release note, the latest MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.6.13 is now available for Redmi 4X, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max 2, Redmi Note 5A/Redmi Y1 Lite and several other MI devices.

To recall, Xiaomi mocked OnePlus 7 Series by teasing Redmi K20 Pro soon after OnePlus launched its flagship phone.

Xiaomi confirmed this news via MIUI Forums. But beginning July 1, 2019, the global MIUI beta program will be no more.

Uh-oh! Huawei delays its first foldable smartphone
The Galaxy Fold came with a kind of protective layer which if removed would cause permanent damage to the device's display. Huawei says this will allow it more time to carry out additional testing and ensure the device is ready.

This news has made it clear that there will be no MIUI 11 update for its global variants at least for now.

In Xiaomi's case, the MIUI beta program lets users test the company's Android interface before any updates officially roll out. The company is offering a different version of its ROM based on the users' demand, which includes Stable and Beta builds. The Xiaomi smartphones come with MIUI stable ROM out of the box which is mostly bug-free and also recommended for day-to-day usage.

At the same time, Xiaomi noted that the main task of beta testing was to get feedback, and most users of MIUI Global Beta nearly never gave feedback.

MIUI Global Beta ROM was designed keeping smartphone enthusiasts in mind who want to be amongst the first ones to experience new features. Prominently, Xiaomi has been discharging worldwide MIUI updates through two particular channels, to be specific Beta and Stable, and the most recent choice is constrained to the beta versions as it were.
