Kevin Durant's mom Wanda is speaking out following her son's devastating Achilles injury during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night.

Durant posted a post-surgery photo of himself on Instagram, giving everyone the lowdown on how he's feeling after an injury that could change the trajectory of his career. Durant had scored 11 points, including three 3-pointers, before going down early in the second quarter clutching the back of his right lower leg.

Several Toronto players waved their hands to get the crowd to stop, and many in the stands soon started clapping instead and muted "K-D" chants could be heard as Durant was helped off the court.

Monday was supposed to mark the joyous return of National Basketball Association superstar Kevin Durant after straining his calf.
