A Fourth American Tourist Dies At Dominican Resorts In 2 Months

The FBI has hit the ground in the Dominican Republic, probing the mysterious deaths of six Americans who died at three resorts on the island.

He said Dominican authorities told the family to expect Wallace's toxicology reports in eight to 10 weeks.

Wallace is the fourth American to die while visiting the Dominican Republic since the end of April.

Yvette Monique, 51, died in June 2018 of a reported heart attack, according to her death certificate, at the Bahia Principe resort, which is the same resort complex that Schaup-Werner, Holmes and Day had died, Fox 29 reports.

"Fit and healthy" David Harrison, from Maryland, died aged 45 at the Hard Rock last July.

A Colorado couple told Inside Edition they became seriously ill at the resort complex's Grand Bahia Principe hotel last summer as well.

Dominican authorities said post-mortem examinations revealed all four tourists died of natural causes.

According to Dominican officials, the cause of death was excess fluid in the lungs.

With the recent rise of mysterious and sudden deaths happening in resorts in the Dominican Republic, one has to ask, what is going on at these resorts?

The FBI is sending experts to the Bahia Principe hotels where the latter three stayed to conduct the investigation.

So far Investigators say there are no medical connections to link the deaths.
