The penultimate "Game of Thrones" episode had fans very divided. "Hasn't left her chambers, hasn't accepted any food". "If Cersei hadn't betrayed her, if she hadn't killed Missandei... then we might not have seen this side of Daenerys Targaryen".

Otherwise, Headey recalls her last day on set as "walking up and down the stairs 20,000 times" to the cellar, and "a lot of crying".

Speaking to EW, Cersei portrayer Lena Headey explained her initial hesitation about the romantic, tragic fate of the Lannister regent. Some are upset by the character arcs of certain fan favorites while others saw this coming for quite some time. Maggy warned that she might not like what she hears, but after tasting a few drops of Cersei's blood, agreed to answer three questions. She only took action when she was finally convinced the city had fallen.

In fact, Headey said she found closure in Cersei and Jaime's moment together before the Red Keep tumbles.

[My reaction was] mixed. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she revealed that she "wanted her to have some big piece or fight with somebody".

So, Cersei would most certainly (1) know how useful wildfire could be and (2) not be above using it to her advantage.

Klopp: Liverpool must manage 'emotional and mental effects' of Champions League comeback
Liverpool's point total is the third-best in Premier League history behind City this year and their 100-point side last year. City got the points they have because we were there. "We were really good until 1-0, what happened then was clear".

Mnuchin contended at the time that the request was politically motivated. 'And while I'm under audit, I won't do it. Mnuchin's move, which had been expected, is likely to set a legal battle into motion.

Supreme Court orders military prison for Guaido deputy
His arrest drew swift condemnation from the United States, which argues Maduro is a dictator who has undermined the rule of law. Venezuela has suffered more than four years of recession marked by shortages of basic necessities such as food and medicine.

Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media to do what they do best lately - pound out keyboard cries of outrage aimed at show-runners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. Perhaps the reason she waited to run was that she believed she still had one trick up her red velvet sleeve: wildfire.

"I think the biggest surprise is he came back for her", she said.

She burned most of the city and did indeed bring the Dothraki and Unsullied, who showed no mercy, despite the Lannister and Golden Company's surrender. "Ultimately they belong together".

Game Of Thrones will conclude at 9pm this Sunday on HBO and at 2am on Sky Atlantic in the UK. The same can not be said for Jamie and Cersei, though. At least one of them has to live, right? The things I do for love.

Daenerys has that vision while she's in the House of the Undying, back in the good old Quarth days. That was not exactly on-brand for the Breaker of Chains. If you don't see a skull in the photo, you can assume that that character is still around... for now.

"She starts off in this final season trapped in a web of her own making, as is usual with Cersei", Headey said. The actress didn't think it was in Cersei's character to give in so quickly. These were stores of Wildfire, but it's up for debate whether they're left over from the reign of the Mad King Aerys (who famously screamed "burn them all" during the end of Robert's Rebellion, referring to the inhabitants of Kings Landing) or were planted by Cersei herself. She died in the arms of her twin brother and lover, Jaime (Nikokaj Coster-Waldau).
