Manchester City and Liverpool's enthralling battle for the Premier League title will come to a climax on Sunday when City visit Brighton, while Wolves travel to Anfield.

The following is a look back on key moments in the Premier League title race ahead of Sunday's final day.

Liverpool stuttered for the second time in six days at London Stadium following their 1-1 draw with Leicester City.

After their miraculous comeback against Barcelona on Tuesday night, they will also contest the Champions League final with Tottenham in Madrid next month.

Their job is to beat Wolves and they can't do anything else, so their approach has to be, "we win this game no matter what, if we win the league it's brilliant, if it's not enough to win the title then we have done all we can".

Raheem Sterling has admitted he is ready for Manchester City's title decider this weekend, and has warned Liverpool that the game will be one City won't take lightly.

It is rare for the title to be won on the final day, even rarer to do it in the final minute of stoppage time in the final game.

"With one in each of their past two games, they are hardly prolific - but that is a big improvement after they went seven games without managing any at all".

"The top two can't be split - they've both been outstanding". But you never know and the only thing we can do is focus on beating Wolves, because that is a very big task as well.

"That's why we have to be more precise in all the aspects we are working with these last three years and try to win the game".

Pep Guardiola's champions head to Brighton knowing that victory will hand them back-to-back titles.

City have clocked up 95 points in their defence of the crown - a figure that was a competition record until previous year - but victory is not yet secure.

Known to fans of the club on the south coast of England as "El Capitan", the 38-year-old Spaniard joined Brighton in 2012 and has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season, with The Seagulls standing 17th in the league on 36 points.

The City manager told reporters at his pre-match press conference on Friday: "I don't change my opinion on what we have done (this season) but to get more credit you have to win".
