Authorities say a woman was killed when she fell into a meat grinder at a processing plant in northern Pennsylvania. While no one actually witnessed the 35-year-old falling in the meat grinder, another employee realized something was wrong when he heard odd noises coming from the machine.

"We talked to the person who found her", Kiessling told ABC News.

Lycoming County coroner Charles Kiessling Jr. confirmed the woman's death in a phone interview with ABC News late Tuesday. "She died inside the moving parts of the machine".

A meat grinder has been involved previously in the death of two women, according to local reports in Russian Federation. A fellow employee heard a noise and went to investigate, turning off the machine before calling for help.

"This is just a tragedy", Kiessling said.

Witnesses claim that authorities spent 45 minutes disassembling the commercial machine in an attempt to recover the 35-year-old woman's remains.
