Measles Case Confirmed, Possible Exposures In Baltimore Area

Measles is one of the most infectious viral diseases known.

Tehama County Health Services Agency Public Health has been looking into a case that was first confirmed in Shasta County, but had ties to Tehama County as well.

According to Public Health England (PHE), there have been 51 confirmed and 241 further suspected cases across the two Nottingham universities.

In 2017, there were no confirmed measles cases in the Military Health System, compared with 120 in the civilian population.

In the midst of a measles outbreak in the United States, public health officials are urging parents to get their children vaccinated, and for parents to make sure they're up to date on their own vaccinations.
