Clinton attended a New York University vigil to honor the victims of the New Zealand shooting. "I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deep inside-49 people died because of the rhetoric that you put out there".

There has been a lot of talk over the last 24 hours about how certain people's rhetoric, or lack of condemnation of white nationalism and hate may inspire actions like those seen in the massacre of 49 Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand yesterday. In a viral video circulating social media, students told Clinton that her remarks on congresswoman Ilhan Omar helped stoke these attacks. The senior accused Clinton of causing the tragedy while Clinton calmly tried to explain herself and apologized to the student. I do believe words matter. "I believe we have to show solidarity".

Many are defending Chelsea Clinton after she was verbally attacked for speaking out against anti-Semitism. "Anyone who doesn't understand this is part of the problem", Donald Jr.'s tweet read.

Clinton was among establishment Democrats who tore into Omar for her suggestion that the wealthy Israeli lobby has an overbearing influence in United States politics.
