President Donald Trump and Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (puh-LOH'-see) agree: He shouldn't be impeached.

"I said: 'Why don't you use this for impeachment?'" Trump said he asked Pelosi.

But there is no suggestion, in any of the ongoing discussions by Democrats, for and against impeachment, of citing Trump's defiance of the congressional power to appropriate funds, laid down in Article I of the Constitution, as one of the possible articles of impeachment.

"For now, Democrats are taking a wait-and-see approach to ousting President Trump since they're expecting the report on the Russian Federation investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller soon".

So what we see here is the leader of the Republican party raising the specter of impeachment, while the ostensible leader of the Democratic party tamping down impeachment talk.
