Captain Marvel was set in 1995 with her journey beginning way before the Avengers were formed.

Marvel fans wouldn't have wait to that long to see Carol Danvers in action once again.

Earlier this month, Larson, 29, opened up to PEOPLE about starring as the first female lead of a Marvel movie. We also get a fantastic money shot that showcases the new lineup of Avengers getting ready to enter battle in their shiny red-and-white costumes aka the Quantum Realm suits. She's been dealing with this unjust war, as it's referred to at one point in the movie, between the Kree and the Skrulls - she's vowed to help them find a home, she's vowed to come after the Supreme Intelligence.

The two get the team back together, including the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), a confused Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, who sat out Infinity War previous year.

In any case, the trailer doesn't really give away much when it comes to how the Avengers actually plan to deal with the destruction Thanos wrought.

What do you think of Kevin Feige's answer?

Opening in theaters on April 26, Avengers: Endgame will follow Avengers: Infinity War, which was the No. 1 film of 2018 on a global basis with $2.046 billion earned.

Avengers: Endgame stars Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.

The trailer ends with Thor meeting Captain Marvel, who isn't phased by his hammer tricks. According to Empire, however, the latter was nearly an entirely different scene that connected Captain Marvel directly to Thor: Ragnarok.
