Serge Ibaka, Marquese Chriss Squared Off In Wild NBA Fight

The fight between Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka and his Cleveland Cavaliers defender Marquese Chriss might have all started due to something the Cavs forward said after the two played out the last few seconds of the third quarter.

And after handling Toronto through the first two-and-a-half quarters, things got a little hairy at the end of the third. After falling to the ground, Ibaka got up and wrapped his hands around Chriss' neck before throwing a punch.

Both players were ejected following the fracas and suspensions - probably a more serious one for Ibaka - are likely on the way.

The Cavs managed to beat the Raptors handsomely tonight, as the the game ended 126-101. Toronto (48-20) trails Milwaukee by 2 1/2 games for the best record in the league. Toronto fell behind by 10 points and committed 11 turnovers leading to 13 points for the Cavaliers.

Denver Weather: Stormy Week Ahead To Include Fog, Wind, Rain And Snow
According to Met Eireann's forecast for the coming days, tonight will be blustery with clear spells and occasional showers. The warning has also been extended northwards, across northern England and now also includes parts of southwest Scotland.

Leonard, averaging 27.1 points going into the game, hasn't appeared in more than two consecutive games since playing in five straight from January 25 through February 5.

Cavaliers coach Larry Drew said he was not surprised the players were ejected. The Raptors veteran would lose $149,000 per game if he were to miss any matches.

Ibaka was brought down by Chriss, as the duo battled for the ball.

Sexton, who is averaging 17.9 points per game since the All-Star break, impressed throughout the night, finishing with a game-high 28 points (on 10-for-18 shooting), connecting on four of his seven 3-point attempts - tying a career-high in made 3-pointers. This has been an ongoing trend for the Raptors, and they'll have to adjust to the fact that this simply isn't Gasol's game, he needs to be used as a playmaker more than as a post-up threat, and when they keep him involved in the right places it helps the team succeed. I thought defensively he did a really good job.
