Daylight-saving time is literally killing us

Canada and parts of Europe also observe DST, but it's called "summer time" across the pond. The U.S. Fire Administration says that you should change the batteries at least every year unless the alarms are over ten years old.

So, should we still schedule our lives around daylight saving time?

Last November, 60 percent of voters approved a proposition which states that Californians want to keep daylight savings time permanent - with no more time shifts.
