PS4 Firmware Update Version 6.50 Is Live, Changelog Inside

The free app is already up on the iOS App Store for users to download.

Weighing in at around 460MB, PS4 update 6.50 is available to download right now.

The DualShock 4 controller is not compatible, however there are third party options which you can use instead.

The functionality in this iOS app seems pretty similar.

Support for iOS remote play is shipping with PS4's version 6.50 firmware update, but there are some restrictions you should know about before you dive in.

Remote Play was once exclusive to Sony's own device, so you couldn't enjoy it unless you owned an Xperia smartphone or a PlayStation Vita.
