Alicia Keys has teamed up with James Corden to perform a parody of Shallow from A Star Is Born.

"A dynamic artist with the rare combination of groundbreaking talent and passion for her craft, Alicia Keys is the ideal choice as host for our show", said Neil Portnow, president and CEO of the Recording Academy. With the songstress seated at the piano, she belted out one of the funniest versions of the song we've heard so far, thanks to a little help from Corden himself. She'll be taking over hosting duties for this year's show, during which Lady Gaga will be performing the hit A Star Is Born tune.

2019 Grammys host and singer, Alicia Keys, gave a preview of the ceremony on Thursday by rolling out the red carpet and dancing while Trombone Shorty played funk music with bandmates.

A 15-time victor herself, the platinum-selling artist has always been a key (what can you do) voice of female empowerment and an advocate of the ongoing mission that is achieving equal representation and compensation for women in, not just music, but all fields.
