Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha has called an interview with the Duchess' friends "bullsh*t".

Meghan reportedly still kept contacting her dad up to the night before the wedding, but to no avail. Moreover, her step-sister has been accusing her and it has been making headlines for several months.

Just hours after People magazine printed bombshell claims from Meghan Markle's friends that she hadn't "ghosted" her father, Samantha retaliated in a series of bitter tweets.

It came after the anonymous quintet, who were only identified as "a longtime friend, a former colleague, a close confidante, a LA friend and former co-star" stood up against what they described as "the global bullying of our friend".

"But in my experience of having covered the Royals for all these years, it would be unprecedented indeed for five friends to go to, I think the US' most popular and bestselling weekly magazine, and talk about the principle of her Royal Highness without her permission".

"It's wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they're pregnant", the friend added. "We've all been to their cottage", says one friend.
