The Philadelphia 76ers are pushing their chips all in this year.

L.A. was jostling for position with the Utah Jazz for the seventh spot, but finds itself only a game ahead of the fast-chasing Sacramento Kings and 2.5 games over the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, who could make a last-minute push with LeBron James as the leader.

Tobias Harris, who's averaging 20.9 points for the Clippers, joins the All-Star trio of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler.

The big return for the Clippers comes with those picks. Woj added that the second-round picks were 2021 and 2023, while Ramona Shelbourne clarified some of the protections, notably that the Sixers' 2020 first-round pick is lottery protected through 2022 before converting into a pair of seconds.

For first-year Sixers general manager Elton Brand, it is the second significant deal of the season - bringing Harris and Butler into the Sixers' lineup.

Through the first two-and-a-half seasons of his career, Matthews has 178 points, with 97 of those points coming on goals. Matthews has been solid, but hasn't complicated matters with his performance this season like teammate Mitch Marner .

Moments after the trade went through, Harris took to Twitter and posted a gif of Will Smith on a basketball court from the opening credits of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".

Harris, 26, is having a breakout season with the Clippers and is now averaging 20.7 points per game while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range. Scott is averaging 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds after scoring nine points Tuesday.

With the trade, the 76ers are now looking to be front runners for the Eastern division.
