It's powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset, has 256GB or 512GB of storage, 12GB of RAM and 5G - the last two are firsts for vivo.

Vivo's "APEX 2019" has also been designed with the ability of turning its display into a speaker by using "Body SoundCasting" technology. Although there's no clear information, for now, we believe the selfie camera will sit on the top bezel of the phone much like the newly launched Meizu Zero.

The lack of a charging port is solved using magnetic pogo pins on the rear which are used for both data transmission and charging the phone. Vivo's Apex 2018 smartphone eventually turned into Vivo Nex to be sold commercially and we could see that happening with Apex 2019 as well (fingers crossed).

United States airport security staff sickouts rise over holiday weekend
MyTSA uses information from the TSA as well as crowdsourced reports from travellers to let you know what your airport looks like. Passengers were encouraged to arrive early for evening flights and to contact the airport and airlines for updates.

This is still just a concept smartphone, it shows the direction Vivo might take with its future smartphones, the same as it did with the previous Apex and the NEX smartphone that followed up. The device successfully delivers an unconventional smartphone experience by completely removing physical buttons - instead adopting Touch Sense technology, which brings together capacitive touch and pressure-sensing.

For starters the Apex 2019 has a port, of sorts.

While there is no selfie camera to be found, the Apex 2019 does feature a dual camera on the back. This year they appear to have nixed the front facing camera entirely. "The Super Unibody design and Full-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology, among several other breakthrough features, make APEX 2019 a truly exceptional smartphone that demonstrates Vivo's continuous exploration and pursuit of exceptional innovation for consumers", said Spark Ni, Senior Vice President of Vivo. Not only is it odd that it didn't provide any information about the dual rear module, but it didn't even mention the fact that there is no front camera. Would you be interested in an all screen smartphone with no ports? Additionally, there are no camera, proximity or ambient light sensors on the face of the phone - allowing for an uninterrupted sheet of glass and mostly consistent bezels, save for the slight chin along the bottom edge. That screen also functions as a speaker, because speaker grills are apparently too ugly for 2019. Stay tuned for more update. The last shot of the video offers an outline of the upcoming Apex 2019, which is in line with previously leaked renders of the phone.
