"It feels great", Chargers receiver Keenan Allen said about his team's first playoff win since the 2013 season.

National Football League insider Adam Schefter has a major update on John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens heading into today's playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers did it very well for three-plus quarters, sacking him seven times in building a 20-point lead before hanging on to win 23-17 in the wild-card round. L.A.'s defense dominated rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson as the home team had four punts and a pair of turnovers on its six first-half possessions, while Rivers and the visiting offense did just enough to control the game most of the afternoon before a late Ravens touchdown tightened things up to make it interesting with just under two minutes to play.

Flacco said he wasn't frustrated to not get the chance to play. Badgley did have a 41-yard field goal blocked.

Sheriff: Rooney arrested in December for public swearing, intoxication
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office confirmed he had been arrested and court files reveal he had to pay a find of $25. DC United said they were aware of the reports of Rooney's arrest in a statement issued to U.S. media.

Jazmine's death has prompted an outpouring of support for her family from people, celebrities and sports stars across the country. National Football League player Deandre Hopkins has pledged his playoff game check to Jazmine's family to help cover expenses.

The biggest plays in Seahawks' wild-card loss to Cowboys
Cowboys' players were clearly shaken up by the play, as it took some time for them to re-gain their momentum against Seattle. At least the Cowboys' offense was held down by Seattle's defense, limiting Dallas to a 3-0 lead.

Los Angeles Chargers star running back Melvin Gordon shared the video he secretly recorded while the driver was praising the Baltimore Ravens and ripping on the Chargers. "And we thought putting the speed guys in there, we didn't know that was going to work, but we wanted to take a look at it".

He was the starter immediately as a rookie, and the Ravens went 11-5 that year - it was also Harbaugh's rookie year as head coach - advancing to the AFC title game, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The first touchdown of the game wasn't scored until the fourth quarter. A year earlier New England pulled off the upset in the Divisional Playoff in San Diego thanks to a Troy Brown forced-fumble following a would-be Chargers interception.

But Jackson played so well that Harbaugh stuck with him even after Flacco was healthy and able to return to practice.
