The biggest plays in Seahawks' wild-card loss to Cowboys

With Seattle trailing Dallas 10-6 late in the first half of their wild-card loss to the Cowboys, a missed 57-yarder on the final play of the second quarter proved costly for the Seahawks, as veteran Sebastian Janikowski hurt his thigh on the kick.

AT&T stadium fell silent about halfway through the opening quarter, when Cowboys wide-receiver Allen Hurns completed a pass from quarterback Dak Prescott as he initiated contact with the Seahawks' defence.

At least the Cowboys' offense was held down by Seattle's defense, limiting Dallas to a 3-0 lead. Hurns was down for several minutes as he was tended to by members of the Cowboys medical staff, and eventually had his leg put into a boot and was carted off.

Cowboys' players were clearly shaken up by the play, as it took some time for them to re-gain their momentum against Seattle.

As bad as the injury looked, it sounds like Hurns will be OK.

Cuomo reportedly asked Elon Musk's Tesla to help fix NYC's subway system

Disturbing details of R. Kelly and Aaliyah's marriage have Twitter completely disgusted
The late singer's mother, Diane Haughton, denied the claims in a statement that was retweeted by Aaliyah's official account. Javonte Cunningham recalled Kelly having sexual intercourse with a teenage girl in the studio while several people watched.

All things considered, it's somewhat promising.

"I'll be good to go by the beginning of the season", he told NFL Network after surgery on his broken fibula. "As hard as the injury was to see, Hurns is expected to be ready to return to football by August if there no complications or anything out of the ordinary", he reports.

Beasley soon returned, but was seen limping heavily on the ankle.

Prescott, the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2016 when the Cowboys lost to Green Bay at home as the top seed in the NFC, threw for 226 yards and had a 1-yard sneak for what appeared to be a clinching score before Tyler Lockett's 53-yard catch set up a quick Seattle touchdown. The Seahawks needed all four of those downs, and on fourth-and-5 from the 39, Russell Wilson hit Doug Baldwin on an especially professional play where the veteran wide receiver just got both feet down for a big conversion.

So in honor of Seattle's loss to Dallas, here are three reasons why Los Angeles should be happy over their rivals no longer being in the playoffs after their elimination during the Wild Card Round.
