Viewers were greeted with clear skies as the Falcon 9 SpaceX rocket carried 64 different spacecraft from 34 separate organizations as part of the Spaceflight Industries SSO-A: SmallSat Express mission. The booster was also the first to launch from all three of SpaceX's pads (Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, and Vandenberg). If all goes well, the spacecraft will catch up with the station early Saturday morning. "All told, another great day for SpaceX and NASA".

The launch was initially scheduled for Tuesday, but was delayed due to *checks note* moldy mouse food. According to the CRS-16 mission overview, after the Cygnus leaves the space station for the first time, it can navigate to a higher orbit and release the cubesats.

"Appears to be undamaged and is transmitting data".

Company SpaceX is really surprising even those fans of space technologies that are sufficiently well versed in them - today, the talented team proved once again that the vision of Elon musk for renewable in the use of missiles is becoming more and more form.

But the primary goal of the flight, SpaceX's 20th so far this year, was to boost the Dragon cargo ship into the space station's orbit for a planned three-day rendezvous.

Despite the initial optimism generated by Kim and Trump's June summit meeting in Singapore, little has transpired since then. His remarks come as the North has protested the sanctions regime, contributing to the recent impasse in U.S.

Hamas Sentences 6 To Death For Collaborating With Israel
She was sentenced in absentia and is alleged to have encouraged her nephew in Gaza to collaborate with Israeli intelligence. Officially 28 executions have been carried out in Gaza since Hamas seized control of Gaza in 2007 from Fatah.

Among the new experiments sent to the space station are the growth of ordered crystals of antioxidant proteins in microgravity that can protect the body from the effects of radiation and some harmful chemicals, and a mice study to understand the physiology of aging and the role it plays on the progression of disease in humans. The Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Space Station Challenge is sponsoring student experiments to develop a UV-activated dental glue that could help astronauts on long-duration voyages and another testing a mist-based irrigation system for plants grown in space.

Another is a small satellite deployment mechanism, called SlingShot that can accommodate as many as 18 CubeSats of any format.

The rocket is carrying the Dragon spacecraft in orbit.

In January next year, the Dragon capsule will depart the ISS, bringing back to Earth 4,000 pounds of research, hardware and crew supplies. Newcomers Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, NASA astronaut Anne McClain and Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques will stay until June.
