During the conference on Neural Information Processing Systems in Montreal, the RTX Titan dubbed as the T-rex was shown off by the NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang. While it offers performance improvements and full-speed FP16 perf w/FP32 accumulate, it's also going to sell for $2,500, more than double the price on the RTX 2080 Ti. It has 4,608 CUDA cores, 576 Tensor cores, and 72 RT cores.

Just a few months after introducing its next-gen RTX cards, Nvidia has a new king on the block: The Titan RTX. The card features almost the same raytracing performance as the Ti, but increased deep-learning muscle with 576 multi-precision Tensor Cores resulting in a hefty 130 TFLOPS of deep learning performance. However, it strongly resembles the RTX 2080 Ti, albeit with a lot more memory.

We don't have a hard release date on the Titan RTX as yet, but its live on NVIDIA'a Australian website (where you can also be notified about it) and it has been pegged for release in the USA and Europe by the end of the year. Data analytics are accellerated through the use of open source RAPIDS libraries, which integrate with the most popular data science workflows to help to speed up machine learning.

George H.W. Bush lies in state in Washington
In keeping with presidential tradition, a detailed schedule of the funeral and memorial services for former President George H.W. Bush's family has not said who will speak at the service. "He knew it meant the death of people. He wanted to avoid a war".

But here's the kicker, the new Titan is paired with 24GB GDDR6 memory at 672GB/s of bandwidth, significantly faster than the previous Titans. The dual-slot design includes dual fans over a vapour chamber cooler covered in diecast aluminium, while an NVLink bridge to allow for two cards in a single system.

Following a number of teases on social media that suggested the launch would be soon, Nvidia has disclosed that the Titan RTX will go on sale later in December at a breathtaking price of $2,499 (around £2,000, AU$3,400).
