Ten contestants were announced for the hit show on Monday.

They are joined by The Chase legend Anne Hegerty, football manager Harry Redknapp, Coronation Street actress Sair Khan, and The Inbetweeners star Emily Atack.

Speaking ahead of venturing into the Australian jungle, he said: "There's nothing tougher than being a manager of a football team when things aren't going well". I think if I look at a spider in a tank that's absolutely fine but if one comes out of a tank or is on a celebrities back after a Bushtucker Trial then I'm not going to like that.

"We do everything together", he said. Meanwhile, Emily revealed that she had a lot in common with the show's new co-presenter Holly Willoughby, as she hates "bugs and snakes".

The actress has played Coronation Street's Alya Nazir for almost five years and said it would be odd just being herself in the camp. I'm going to be useless during the eating trial, I don't even like it if someone eats with their mouth open'.

"My character is so different to me. I guess people haven't seen me and I want them to like me".

DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles is said to have been offered a staggering six-figure sum to join Harry and pack his bags for life down under.

Knowles, 56, is single but has ruled out finding love in the jungle.
