On Tuesday, Tuilagi was named in England's 25-man squad to play New Zealand on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.

"I was gutted when he pulled out (of the South Africa match), but it was a tiny niggle", said Youngs. It settles down the boys to know that he's there'.

"What we've got to do is make sure we play like England, do everything we can to maximise our game, look at areas where New Zealand are weak and see if we can find a way to expose those weaknesses", he told BBC Sport. "We're really excited about the opportunity and I'm very excited and I know that my team-mates echo that as well".

The Sale flanker limped off in the second half of Saturday's 12-11 victory at Twickenham and after having the joint scanned, it was confirmed he is facing an extended spell on the sidelines.

"Manu is back and progressing well - we're cautiously optimistic he'll be available this week, the same with Courtney Lawes".

Trump, without control of Congress, could decide to triangulate. 'We'll just have to work a little bit differently, ' he said. Republicans were keenly aware that losing their majority will hamstring his political agenda over the next two years.

But the Leicester centre has trained fully this week and is expected to be re-selected as a replacement when Eddie Jones names his team on Thursday.

Some England players may doubt how well known they are to their Kiwi opponents, but Youngs is only too aware of the damage the world champions can cause. England are well versed in what to expect, however. You know against New Zealand you're going to have score tries, simply trying to slot penalties probably isn't going to be enough because of the threat they pose.

He said: "We know they're going to have an ideal preparation for the game; they'll be up for the game. It is about going out there and really taking the game to them".

"We want to make sure that we give the best account of ourselves and how that is, is making sure we get our game-plan clarity absolute right and then we're able to execute on Saturday".
