Toyota Motor Corp. and Subaru Corp. will recall more than 400,000 cars globally to fix a faulty engine part that could cause stalling while driving.

Those vehicles were made between 2012 and 2013, but Subaru hasn't said how many were sold in the U.S. Toyota's recall includes the 86 and the FR-S sports auto.

The models comprising this considerable recall include Subaru's Forester sport-utility vehicle, Impreza, and BRZ sports auto.
