Alec Baldwin Leaves NYPD Precinct After Assault Arrest

Officials say the men were arguing and pushing each other before the 60-year-old Baldwin hit the other man.

Mr. Baldwin was still at NYPD's 6th Precinct being processed as of mid-afternoon.

Police said that the victim was taken to a hospital where he is in stable condition. A court appearance has been scheduled for November 26.

A rep for the actor did not immediately return Fox News' request for comment.

Baldwin is well known for his impersonation of Donald Trump on the US TV sketch show Saturday Night Live.

The most recent episode, with less than 1.5 million viewers, had the smallest audience of any prime-time program on the top four broadcast networks over the past week, the Nielsen company said.
