Oprah, Pence Visit Georgia in Final Days of Campaign

With less than a week until the midterms, Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate and first female African-American nominee Stacey Abrams is enlisting the help of another prominent African-American woman: Oprah.

Meanwhile, both President Trump and Vice-President Pence will stump for Abrams's opponent, Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, a self-described "politically incorrect conservative".

Winfrey isn't the only celebrity knocking on doors in support of Abrams. That's why I believe in a background check. "I believe that those who commit domestic violence and stalking should not have access to weapons".

"I paid to come here myself, and I approved this message", Winfrey said, explaining that she tracked down Abrams' cellphone number and called her to say she wanted to offer assistance in the final days of the campaign. "I think they should be prohibited from civilian use".
