MELBOURNE: Chargrilled kangaroo was on the royal menu on Thursday as Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan arrived in Australia's second-largest city Melbourne, where they were greeted by thousands of screaming fans.

Meghan called her new pooch a "she" while chatting to guests at the Survivors" Network in Brighton back in early October, and joked that people keep "getting her name wrong", shutting down reports that they had named their dog "Oz'. One 12-year-old student name Charlie Wolf asked Meghan if she'd picked out a baby name.

And while no one knows what kind of relationship Meghan and Eugenie have behind palace doors, one thing is for certain: both Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice have often kept their distance from Kate Middleton.

At a private meal, the Royal couple enjoyed a shared entree of mushroom and quinoa nest and chargrilled kangaroo and main courses of wild boar, saffron risotto and barramundi.

Katie Baylis, a Betfair spokesperson, said: "At this stage Diana, Arthur and Alice, which was favourite at different stages for Kate and William's babies, are the 12/1 front-runners". "But the Duke said there's never too many bananas".
