After taping the upcoming NBC Special A Very Wicked Halloween this morning, Grande - sans the $100,000 engagement ring given to her by Davidson - announced that she was taking a break from social media.

"Time to say bye bye again to the internet for just a lil bit", this "God is a Woman" singer continued. "It's hard not to bump news [and] stuff that I'm not [trying] to see [right now]". It's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep goin.

Cazzie hasn't addressed Ariana and Pete's split (why would she?) but Pete did cancel a recent appearance at Temple University. "Love u. and thank u for being here always".

However, Grande's struggle with anxiety almost derailed her return to the stage. The pop star previously revealed that she would perform "The Wizard and I" for the televised concert special in celebration of Wicked's 15th anniversary on Broadway.

While getting ready for her performance, Grande revealed that her high anxiety nearly caused her to back out of the recording.

"Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend", Grande's team told People in a statement before the show.

As fans know, Grande was hit hard by the traumatic overdose death of her ex, Mac Miller, on September 7.
