No victor in Mega Millions Friday

A Mega Millions $548 million jackpot awaits lottery players when numbers are drawn for Friday night.

A lucky victor could take home an estimated $548 million in winnings prior to taxes or opt for the cash option, which is estimated to be $309.2 million, after tonight's drawing. The potential payout on Saturday is the 24th-highest in the game's history. The largest, just $2 million more, was drawn in March 2012.

The chance of matching all six numbers and winning the jackpot is one in 302.5 million.

Mass Lottery spokesman Christian Teja said this weekend's drawings will total over $865 million, with tomorrow's Powerball jackpot estimated at $314 million.

The next drawing will be Tuesday.
