Bigg Boss 12 was kicked off on 16 September with the theme of vichitra jodi.

Singer Anup Jalota who is know for singing devotional songs, entered the Bigg Boss 12 house along with Jasleen Matharu as a "vichitra jodi". Salman Khan unveiled the lineup of Bigg Boss 12 tonight and we have to give it to the casting team of the show for bringing in a good mix of contestants this year. The two are dating each other for over three years. Her father Kesar Matharu is a filmmaker and she made her acting debut with The Dirty Relation. Anup's complicated relationship with Jasleen aroused a sense of curiosity among the contestants and questions about their relationship will be asked even during the nomination process. During this, the housemates will attack Jasleen and Anup on their relationship.
