They have all been involved in her career, and an insider says that they will fight to keep their mom's money in the family.

The multiple Grammy victor cemented her place in USA music history with a powerful, bell-clear voice that stretched over four octaves.

It will be a four-day event to celebrate her life.

Aretha Franklin hadn't ventured far from her adopted hometown of Detroit for three years.

"More than once, I've met a hero of mine, but nothing compared to getting to know Aretha Franklin - Ms. Franklin".

"She was just a great person, great cook, great woman". In passing, Franklin stands as a reminder that our love for each other can be improved so much more effectively through joy rather than hate. "This next song is a song that a girl took away from me", he said. "[It's] wonderful what she did with the song", he said.

Her obituary in the Detroit Free Press reports that Aretha Franklin had pancreatic cancer.

"That's why I said I'm going to bring my granddaughter and let her see where it all started for the Queen of Soul", Harris said. Though her influence was felt throughout music, a critical part of her legacy lies in gospel, where she got her start. Do you guys know this is 2018 and not 1818?

It is one of Franklin's signature songs, and is considered the song that introduced her to the world.
