I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it won't be the last goal Ronaldo scores for Juventus.

The former Real Madrid striker played in his first match for Juventus in a friendly against the club's B team at Villar Perosa.

Emre Can, a summer signing from Liverpool, also appeared in the match which, remarkably, was won by the B team 3-2.

But with the extra excitement of being within touching distance of Ronaldo, the supporters couldn't wait and the match was called off 20 minutes before the full 90.

Members of the industrial dynasty - founders of Fiat vehicle manufacturers and often called the "Italian Kennedys" - have lived at "The Castle" in Villar Perosa since the 19th century, while deceased former club chairman Gianni Agnelli was town mayor between 1945 and 1980.

"I've been coming here since I was 12 years old back in the 1960s, when (Gianni) Agnelli would arrive here in a helicopter", he said.

Removing the hate-mongering Alex Jones from his platforms is a huge step forward in the fight against fake news. Jones has responded to the ban by calling it "21st-century warfare", and an attack on his right to free speech.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored just eight minutes into his Juventus debut and was mobbed by fans as a pitch invasion saw the game abandoned early.

"Maybe. Of course, it helps when you see the people like you, the supporters and club like you, the feeling is completely different".

The Portuguese beat an off-side trap as he was came face to face with the goalkeeper, he then took his time to apply the finish in style.

Juventus kick off their Serie A title defence at Chievo next Saturday and all eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo to see if he can replicate his incredible La Liga goalscoring form in Serie A. Spoiler, he probably can.

Strict security was put in place with Ronaldo featuring in front of just five thousand fans with a complete ban on the sale of alcohol.

Ronaldo, who joined the Serie A champions last month in a deal worth a £100million, made the flawless start to life in Turin.
