Wolves are set to sign Spanish winger Adama Traore for a club record fee after meeting the £18m release clause in his Middlesbrough contract.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly still hopeful of signing Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko on deadline day, despite reports that he has decided against a move.

He moved to Middlesbrough the following summer, scoring five goals in 71 appearances at the Riverside. He moved to Villa in 2015 but left after the Midlands side's relegation to the Championship the following year.

And the Daily Mail adds that Leicester are open to selling or loaning Simpson, who was a key member of the Foxes side crowned Premier League champions two years ago, after bringing in Porto's Ricardo Pereira.

Wolves finished top of the Championship table last campaign by nine points ahead of fellow promotion-winners Cardiff in second place with Fulham earning promotion via the play-offs.

Yet Wolves still want to sign him! That led to him picking up three awards at Boro's end-of-season awards.

Traore joins Portugal's Euro 2016 winning duo, goalkeeper Rui Patricio and midfielder Joao Moutinho, Jonny Castro Otto and Raul Jimenez as new faces in manager Nuno Espirito Santo's squad.
