Tiger Woods to play in his first PGA Championship in 3 years

Fleetwood tied the U.S. Open record this year with a 63 in the final round, but that wasn't enough to undo the damage of a 78 on Saturday.

He took an ice bath. "To get to this point is a phenomenal achievement already". And a lot of stretching. He's right where he needs to be and is ready to go and make a name for himself.

That noise? It's softened considerably during the a year ago, and the spotlight that accompanied him to Quail Hallow shines a little less brightly on Spieth in St. Louis.

On a reconnaissance trip in early July, Gary Woodland was playing Bellerive Country Club when he noticed a few members of the club were steadfastly following him.

The American will return to the Bellerive course for the first time since he was practicising in the Missouri city before the 2001 WGC-AMEX Championship on September 11, when he heard of the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. I like Thomas Pieters, Brandt Snedeker, Keegan Bradley, Byeong-Hun An, Adam Scott, Thorbjorn Olesen and Ryan Moore, but narrowing it down to four starters and an alternate is tough.

Eighth-ranked Spieth could become the first to finish the Career Slam at a PGA and do it on the same course where South Africa's Player did by winning the 1965 US Open.

"There's really not a number, [but] has it narrowed down some, I think it has", Furyk said about the his field of potential picks. This is his first PGA Championship since 2015, which was the first one Thomas played.

It's been like that all year. "They need to experience what he brings to the game, and they need to experience all that comes with the world of Tiger Woods".

And at last week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio‚ one of the year's biggest events outside the majors‚ he plodded along for three rounds looking ragged. "It's just what are my limitations going to be", he said. Before, and as I was alluding to earlier, I didn't really have any of those issues when I was early in my career because I didn't have a fixed point in my back. Whatever your preferred slogan, it's time again for the PGA Championship, and time to see who captures the season's last major.

Woods briefly led Sunday at the Open Championship before sharing sixth after his best final round in five years saw him share fourth at the US PGA National. On Tuesday, McIlroy said they look worse than they putt and slower than they're actually playing, and he said that even in that morning's rain, he felt like they were putting well.

Paul Pogba tells team-mates he wants Barcelona move

Melania hails LeBron James after Donald Trump Mocked NBA Star
His tweet called Lemon the "the dumbest man on television ", and then said Lemon "made LeBron look smart, which isn't easy to do". Jordan responded to that, praising James for helping his community. "I would never sit across from him", James quickly replied.

MoviePass just killed its signature unlimited movie plan
Last week, the company said it would raise the price of its plan from $10 to $15 per month, but that's no longer the case. For the last many weeks, MoviePass customers have been annoyed by the many changes to the service, to say the least.

It looks like he has been trying to fix it. Rory has a golf game based on his driver swing. All those things, he's been through.

"So he's shown over the past few years he's mentally very good, so I'm sure he won't have a problem".

One player now on the outside looking in is Sergio Garcia, who hasn't been in good form since winning the 2017 Masters.

"I'm giving myself chances almost every week", McIlroy said Tuesday. "I played in a lot of final groups and I haven't played well enough when it has counted".

Meanwhile, European Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjorn has pulled out on the eve of the tournament with a back injury.

One player high on Furyk's radar is DeChambeau, who won The Memorial in June and is a former U.S. Amateur champion. You fill out a lineup of 12 starters, who are divided into four groups based on World Golf Rankings.

It's unlikely one of the six South Africans in the field is going to make it three from three at Bellerive for Africa‚ but golf is one sport where form does not necessarily translate to success.

"We still get to see weeks ahead in big tournaments", Furyk said.

Woods no longer has that luxury. He once said it couldn't be a great year without winning a major.

"Just for me to be able to have this opportunity again is a dream come true", Woods said.
