In what should have come as a surprise to absolutely no one, Rihanna showed up to the world premiere of Ocean's 8 looking criminally flawless. The film earned a 58 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a C- CinemaScore. However, while the 2016 Ghostbusters was ultimately considered a disappointment (tapping out with $129 million), Ocean's 8 will be considered a big win for Warner Brothers.

Ocean's 8 stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, and Dakota Fanning.

Ocean's 8 is an all-female star cast led spin-off of the popular George Clooney and Brad Pitt starring franchise Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen, released between 2001 to 2007. And I'm sorry, it's impossible to set the climax of a heist movie in the Met without making your audience think of that wonderful Thomas Crown Affairremake. Audiences appear to disagree - the horror film now has a D+ CinemaScore and 64 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, while its critical rating is 94 per cent Fresh.

Toni Collette's "Hereditary" also got a box office boost. Set in a near-future Los Angeles, "Hotel Artemis" is about a members-only hospital for criminals.

The third new release of the weekend was unfortunately unable to drum up much interest, as the Drew Pearce written and directed film Hotel Artemis opened it's doors to a resounding shrug. The opening included an estimated $4.7 million in Australia, $2.6 million in Mexico and $1.7 million in Brazil. And then "Jurassic World 2" will probably take the crown for its North American debut on June 22, but it may still be a close race between supes and dinos. Internationally, the Han Solo origin story brought in an additional $11.3 million.

Donegan penned the song in 1965 as the official tune to go along with the Football Association's mascot for the tournament. It is the one competition that everybody dreams of winning.

In third is "Deadpool 2" $13.8 million in its fourth frame.

Rounding out the top five, Disney's "Avengers: Infinity War", now in its seventh weekend, added $6.8 million for a cumulative $654.7 million. The film carries a $10 million budget.

Well, fair enough. I don't blame Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon or Leslie Jones for Ghostbusters sucking.
