Wonder Woman 1984 is the official title of the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel!

Following last week's reveal of the movie's logo, production on the sequel to DC's Wonder Woman is now underway. Johns is credited as a co-writer on Wonder Woman 1984.

Joining Jenkins behind the scenes are several members from her Wonder Woman team including director of photography Matthew Jensen, Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto (Amélie), and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (Topsy-Turvy).

But the most revelatory thing about these images is that they confirm Chris Pine's return as Steve Trevor.

Minister resigns over Brexit ahead of crucial vote in UK
He said that while he was sad to leave the government, he believed many big changes were needed to make the U.K.'s exit a success. That clause - drafted by Grieve - basically hands a lot of power to Parliament if no deal has been agreed by the end of November.

Jenkins officially signed onto the film after the success of the first one, which became a runaway hit and rare critical triumph for the troubled DC Film series.

The first film sees the title character, a.k.a. Diana, train as an Amazon warrior on the Mediterranean island of Themyscira during her early years. Trevor sacrificed his own life in the first film, so DCEU fans are wondering about how he can be back and still looking young on the set of Wonder Woman 2.

Does this mean that he is somehow back from the dead? It stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal in an unknown role. It's possible in a comic book universe, but would perhaps risk undermining his emotional exit in Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled for release in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D on November 1, 2019.
