EA revealed at that time that players will not be able to gain extra advantage by paying for premium features on an official post on the "Battlefield V" website from Senior Development Director Ryan McArthur.

Battlefield V is adding a multiplayer Battle Royale that will be "reimagined for Battlefield", developers announced Saturday during EA Games' press conference at E3. Players complained that this wasn't historically accurate (even though many women did fight on the front lines of the war for certain countries) and that it broke the "immersion" that DICE promised for Battlefield V. Most of these arguments are flimsy covers for men who hate women.

EA came to play on the weekend before E3 2018.

Manuel Lanzini Ruled Out of Argentina's 2018 World Cup After Rupturing ACL
The 2014 runners-up kick off their World Cup campaign against Iceland on June 16 and then take on Croatia and Nigeria in Group D. The seriousness of the injury also means Lanzini is likely to miss the opening games of the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The Swedish developer didn't offer much in the way of details, other than the fact that it'll be a uniquely Battlefield-style interpretation of battle royale, and that there'll be more to share on the mode "later this year". Players will have the ability to dive and smash through windows and move around heavy turrets from their fixed position.

The news comes after Activision revealed last month that Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will also have a Battle Royale mode. Fans can also expect the same kind of destructible buildings that they know and love which means you aren't necessarily safe hiding out in a house. Few details were revealed about the new mode of play, but more will be revealed at a later date.
