Manuel Lanzini Ruled Out of Argentina's 2018 World Cup After Rupturing ACL

Enzo Perez has been added to Argentina's World Cup squad as a replacement for Manuel Lanzini.

The World Cup finals kick off in Russian Federation next week and the 25-year-old West Ham United player was expected to be a starter in manager Jorge Sampaoli's squad.

The 25 year-old's ruptured anterior knee ligament injury is not just a blow for Argentina, but something that fans at the London Stadium will surely be concerned about.

Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli has chosen Enzo Perez to replace Manuel Perez, who was injured in training on Friday and will miss the World Cup in Russian Federation this summer.

Perez will travel directly to Russian Federation from Argentina to meet up with his worldwide teammates, who left Barcelona on Saturday.
