Stevens said to Tim MacMahon of ESPN: "It's silly".

Many people have praised Brad Stevens as the reason for their success this season despite the adversity the team has faced. "We all have a role to play, and we all need to play that role as well as we can".

Stevens and the Celtics are set up to be the toast of the Eastern Conference, if not the National Basketball Association, for the foreseeable future with a talented core of Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, Al Horford, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Brad Stevens has enjoyed a large amount of success in his tenure as the Boston Celtics head coach, leading the team to back-to-back Eastern Conference finals and garnering praise as one of the top coaches in the National Basketball Association. With another postseason victory, he'd set a new career high for postseason wins, this after leading Boston to the East finals last season. That's with even their key players in Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward being injured on the sidelines. The players certainly deserve their share of love, which occasionally gets lost in all of that admiration for Stevens.

Baynes, who is in his first season with the Celtics, played for Popovich in San Antonio from 2012-15. "They definitely have their own methods as well".

Now that's the correct answer, but Brad, buddy, you are one hell of a coach.

But do not consider Celtics legend Robert Parish to be not among the Bradbots.

"I think he gets a little too much praise, but I like what he's doing", Parish said on Sirius XM NBA radio. It seems that the coach is still getting used to all of the attention. The love he's getting from the media, you'd think the Celtics won two or three championships. Though he's never won a championship, he's demonstrated his acumen with tactful schemes and brilliant plays out of timeouts. I'm just saying, the amount of praise he's getting, you'd think he won a championship or two.

"They don't give Steve Kerr that much love, come on".
