More than 100 protestors rally at Capitol, block traffic

Members of the Michigan Poor People's Campaign say they won't take it anymore.

Fourteen people were arrested during a protest, part of a national movement, that shut down a street outside the Indiana Statehouse for almost three hours Monday. It says the 2 had been amongst protesters arrested after standing in the course of a road.

"We understand that in order to change things we have to do the rallies, we have to do organizing, we have to do voter mobilization, we have to engage in civil disobedience", said the Rev. William J. Barber II, who co-chairs the organization alongside the Rev. Liz Theoharis.

"We will not stand for any more of the injustices you continue to put on our people."
"Because it is immoral for children in this country to go hungry, which is one of the wealthiest countries in the world", Carolyn Foster said.
