In the comic books, Ms Marvel's alter-ego is Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey.

As of this writing, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War has earned almost $548 million domestically and $1.6 billion worldwide, making it the top-grossing superhero film of all time and the biggest-earner in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That is to say, Brie Larson will fill the role for both Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, but we don't know how or why she hasn't aged between those two films. And now this fan-favorite character (whose very vocal fans have called for a solo movie almost every day on Twitter) could finally make her MCU debut. We're looking specifically at the 19 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that have been released.

An interesting wrinkle to bringing Ms. Marvel to the big screen would be explaining how she gets her powers.

The superhero franchise also introduced Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, in the second "Avengers" installment.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star claims she is not the only MCU actress who wants to see an all-female Marvel movie.

Planned Iran sanctions, tight supply send oil to new multi-year high
The Saudis themselves reported total production of 9.868 million barrels a day in April, down by about 39,100 compared to March. Part of the "success" of these cutbacks is the result of economic and political instability in many oil producing countries.

Pence calls Trump greatest defender Israel ever had in White House
Israel said its troops were defending its border and accused Hamas militants of trying to attack under the cover of the protest. Ardern said New Zealand had long supported a two-state solution and warned that the USA move would be a backwards step.

Fans are anxiously awaiting Carol Danvers' MCU debut in Captain Marvel next year.

This news comes in light of the heart-wrenching cliffhanger Marvel fans have been left on after Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

Granted, we would give anything to see Groot get his own spinoff- the script writes itself - but during an interview with the BBC, Kevin Feige revealed that a film with the Muslim teen superhero Kamala Khan is "definitely sort of in the works".

As for who died offscreen, well, Actor Loki (played by Matt Damon) didn't make it, nor did Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) or Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) - the former hasn't appeared in the MCU since 2008, and Alexander stars on the NBC series Blindspot. Even now, by some definitions, there are more Chrises on the official Avengers team than there are women or people of color. Throw in the added value of Evangeline Lilly getting promoted to superhero status, and there are a lot of things working in this movie's favor.
