CISCE Result 2018: ISC, ICSE result declared; here's how to check

Around 10,88,891 students applied for Class 12 (ISC), out of which 6,28,865 were boys and 4,60,026 were girls, while over 16 lakhs students appeared for Class 10 (ICSE) board exams. Even more, there was lesser no of absentees reported for Class 10th ICSE Examination 2018.

From this year, CISCE has slashed pass marks for both class 10 and class 12 exams. Previous Year Total Pass Percentage of ISC 12th Class Examination was 98.53%. Over 49 students got more than 99 per cent in ISC Class 12 examinations and 15 students scored more than 99 per cent in ICSE Class 10 examinations. You will receive your result on your mobile phone.

The results were declared at 3 pm today. As per the released data, 98.95 per cent girls and 98.15 per cent boys, passed the Standard 10 examinations.

Alternatively, students may also check their results by sending a SMS. A total of 80,880 ISC candidates appeared for the exam and the overall pass percentage stands at 96.21 per cent. Class 10 students will only have to score 33 percent and not 35, whereas class 12 students will have to secure 35 percent instead of 40 from 2018 examination onwards. The result is generally announced within 25-30 days of the completion of the board exams.

To get result via SMS, send SMS ICSE to 09248082883 for class 10 result and SMS ISC to 09248082883 for class 12 result. The students who will be checking their results are asked to save the PDF copy of the results and take a printout of the same for future references.
